| ACCO Brands Appoints Thomas Kroeger to Board of Directors |
| LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill., Dec 08, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- ACCO Brands Corporation (NYSE: ABD), a world leader in select categories of branded office products, announced today that Thomas Kroeger has been appointed to its Board of Directors. The company's board now consists of eight members.
Kroeger is President of Spencer Alexander Associates, a firm that provides management consulting and executive recruiting services. Spencer Alexander Associates is affiliated with Howard & O'Brien Associates, a retained executive search firm based in Cleveland, Ohio. He is also a member of the Operating Council of Kirtland Capital Partners, a private equity firm. Previously, Kroeger has served as chief human resources officer for Invacare Corporation, Office Depot, and The Sherwin-Williams Company. In each of these positions, he was an officer of the corporation and a member of the executive committee. Kroeger is a member of the executive committee of the Board of Regents of St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Ohio. He has also served as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Lorain County Urban League and as a task force member for the Cleveland Commission for Economic Inclusion.
