GBC and Toshiba America Business Solutions Announce the Availability of the GBC StreamPunch™III and ProClick® Pronto™
StreamPunch III, an on-line punching solution and ProClick Pronto automated binding solution from GBC are now available from Toshiba America Business Solutions.

Northbrook, IL (Oct. 2006) -- GBC, an ACCO Brands company (NYSE: ABD) and market leader in the manufacturing and distribution of binding and laminating products, and Toshiba America Business Solutions (TABS), a leader in digital imaging technology, have announced the launch of GBC's StreamPunch™III, a new on-line punching solution that is compatible with Toshiba's newest monochrome digital imaging systems, the e-STUDIO™901, e-STUDIO1101 and e-STUDIO1351, with speeds of 90 pages-per–minute (ppm), 110 ppm and 135 ppm respectively.

GBC StreamPunch III's key product features include the ability to manage print finishing from the desktop or touch-panel display, and up to 30 percent faster production time with speeds up to 135 ppm. The StreamPunch III is the only in-line punching solution in this price segment that can punch at the rated speed of the printer.

For a complete print, punch, and bind solution, GBC's ProClick Pronto automatic binding solution can be added to the e-STUDIO/StreamPunch III workflow. The ProClick Pronto employs pre-loaded cassettes that hold the ProClick binding elements. These versatile ProClick elements, available in three sizes and four colors, 5/16”, ½”, 5/8” and Black, Navy, White and Frost, can easily be opened so pages can be edited, added or deleted and then re-bound with the same element. ProClick-bound documents lie flat and pages can be rotated 360-degrees for convenient note-taking and photocopying. The ProClick Pronto is available in two models, the P2000, a bind-only product, and the P3000, an all-in-one punch and bind unit.

“What continues to differentiate products like the StreamPunch III is that a single operator can manage the entire high-speed production system while producing ready-to-bind documents.” says Rick McCallion, Vice President of Product Technology and Partnering for GBC. “Toshiba has launched a complete offering with StreamPunch III and the ProClick Pronto to enable a total print, punch and bind workflow for their customers.”

“With the StreamPunch III and ProClick, Toshiba customers now have a complete productivity-enhancing solution that automates the punching (StreamPunch III) and now the binding (ProClick Pronto) processes too,” said Steve Rhorer, vice president marketing, TABS. “By offering these types of advanced productivity solutions to our customers, TABS continues to underscore its position as a leading force in the digital imaging industry.”

The GBC StreamPunch III and the ProClick Pronto are marketed through Toshiba America Business Systems' nationwide network of dealers.
